It is being reported that NBA rookie guard, former VCU Ram, Eric Maynor is being dealt to the Oklahoma City Thunder. The Thunder pick up Maynor from the Utah Jazz in exchange for the draft rights to Peter Fehse.

The deal also brings Jazz’s, Matt Harpring’s expiring $6.5 million contract to the Thunder, but the 33-year-old Harpring is out for the season and will likely not play a game with OKC.
Thunder also release reserve guards Shaun Livingston and Mike Wilks.
Eric Maynor was the 20th overall pick out of VCU, and averaged 5.2 points, 3.1 assists and 1.5 rebounds in 14 minutes per game with the Jazz.

  • [...] In a complicated deal to save money, the Utah Jazz traded  Eric Maynor  to the Oklahoma City Thunder. VCU Ram Nation has all the details. [...]

Maybe I’m being a little picky, but knowing what a gracious and humble young man he is, it would not surprise me in the least if he were the first to correct someone of this. Not that I have a vote, but he has my vote in 2019.
