VCU to reveal new Ram head logo “soon”

This past September VCU did away with the center court ram head in favor of the simplified and updated VCU script logo.

That was apparently some foreshadowing as VCU Athletics is set to release a new ram head logo…”soon”.

Earlier today in response to a complaint about the Rams’ text only look, VCU AD Ed McLaughlin tweeted:

This past August VCU launched a brand campaign that included newly designed University logos. It’s only fitting that the University’s most recognizable product since the Rams Final 4 run two seasons ago, athletics, received the same treatment.
