Each year, Garnett’s Cafe in the Fan puts together custom sandwiches for each senior on the VCU roster. They were once called “The Rozzell”, “The Rodriguez”, etc, but had to be changed for legal reasons. Regardless, these sandwiches are always unique to the player, and also unique to your taste buds. We love the people behind these sandwiches, and encourage you to go try one!
Garnett’s 2013 Senior Sandwich Roster:
The #30 (straight-up amazing):
cold-sliced chicken breast, lettuce, tomato, and mayonaise on ciabatta roll
The #10 (one-of-a-kind):
bacon, hard boiled egg, green tomato relish, lettuce, and avocado on toasted wheat
The #34 (crowd favorite):
roast beef, cheddar, chow-chow, and sriracha mayo, on toasted rye
The three special sandwiches are available into April for lunch/dinner at Garnett’s Cafe.
