VCU racked up another win in a victory over Akron for the ESPN Bracketbuster showdown at the Siegel Center.

After two straight losses, VCU stepped it up with a 73-54 victory over Drexel. Larry Sanders and Bradford Burgess were exceptional tonight, with a double-double each.

VCU handed it to ODU this afternoon in one of the biggest rivalries in the CAA. Final score: 70-58.

VCU handed Georgia State another upset as the Rams claimed homecoming victory, 78-62.

VCU more than doubled Towson’s total points tonight in a blowout win at the Siegel Center. Final score: 112-53.
