We finally are moving up the seed line !!! We actually jumped Butler which dropped to a seven seed ! St. Louis is a five seed but that may drop because this was posted before their loss last night to X. 96 total brackets. We are currently the last six seed just .03 points ahead of Notre Dame, the first seven seed. we are as high as a four in one bracket ! Respect finally coming from bracketville !!

Can't get too mad at that. I think with a win at Temple and a quarterfinal win in Brooklyn or a Temple loss and getting to the A10 finals would put us in the 6 range.

I think we'll see Butler move down further. My guess is they'll make the tournament but most likely as a double-digit seed.

Butler will be a single digit seed.

Thank you, Merc. Regardless of end of season streak, the wins on their resume are easily better than a 10.

Yeah those wins over Indiana, Gonzaga, and Marquette will carry them a long way.

What if they continue to struggle and lose their last 2? It is a real possibility. They finish with X and UMass. Right?

Realistically they can lose their next 3 and have a single digit seed.

Maybe. But it would be close. They could fall to a 10 seed if they lose the next 3. They would be in the 8/9 game at the very best.

Not really. The committee is going to take the time of year the win occurred into account too. They're going to recognize that the UNC team that Butler beat is not the same team as the one that's playing well now. For most of the first half of the season, Carolina really was playing like dog poop. If UNC played Butler today, the Heels would run them out of the gym.

Not true. At least the claim from the Committee is that when the win came is irrelevant

Calm down man. It was just a response to Butler's wins and how they will affect their seeding.
