A lot of us are curious about some of the substitutions. It seems that when someone gets hot, say...Joey hits back to back threes against Hofstra, or Brandon catches fire early against whoever, he immediately earns a ticket to the bench. What's the thought process behind benching the hot hand?

Now that we have entered the latter half of the season will you continue to play as many players as you have or settle into a 9 or 10 man rotation?
Can you elaborate on your technical foul during the Hofstra game?
Jim Hunter, Petersburg

coach smart-
can we expect to see a more aggressive approach to the press as the season progresses, or do you believe that due to the makeup of the squad a more conservative approach is in order?

What has been the most unexpected or surprising part of being a head coach?
Is there any one player who is the most vocal leader on and off the court?

Coach Smart,
1. Who do you feel is the leader of this team, the guy you look in the eyes and ask him to get things done on and off the court?
2. VCU fans, myself included, have noticed that you are still actively recruiting. How do you accomplish this along with prepping for games, running practices and managing the season?
Thanks,
Jason Johnson

Coach Smart -
What is the secret to beating VCU? I need some help soon, my job is on the line. Just ask Al Groh what happens when you consistently fail to beat your in state rivals.
Sincerely,
C. Mooney, West End.

Where has Rodney been and what can we do so he has more of a presence at home games?

Sometimes when the opposition is busting open our press and scoring some easy baskets we remain in the full court pressure defense. Are you reticent to move away from the press in a game even when it's not working? If so, why? Is it a pace of game consideration? Maybe it causes fatigue for the opposition?

Not a bad question, but I think you have to include your name and location in order for it to get asked.

What are your thoughts on scheduling at least one "challenge" OOC game per year against a top BCS school, even if it is a one and done away game? A lot of us fans think that is one thing that is missing from our schedule.

I am assuming we will not see a lot of the regulars post in the spirit of having to use their real names.

totally unacceptable questions but wouldn't it be really nice to know:
1. How do you feel about TJ's handling of the current situation?
2. Has Larry expressed his desire to go to the NBA?
3. Of the recruits left for spring siging who has expressed the most interest (completely against NCAA to talk about this, but I am just pretending that no questions are off limits).
