UCLA Geography Dept. Currently offers a course: GEOG 3: “Cultural Geography: Examples from variety of landscapes and places since 1800 and especially from Los Angeles region.”
If UCLA views the world “especially from Los Angeles”, it is easy to understand why Mr. Howland’s estimate of VCU’s travel time to Philly was off by 250%.
