VCU Rams star, Quanitra Hollingsworth was selected 9th overall in this years WNBA Draft by the Minnesota Lynx. Hollingsworth will be reunited with former VCU teammate, Krystal Vaughn. “Q” had her jersey raised to the rafters of the Siegel Center this season as being the only female Ram ever to obtain over 1000 rebounds and score over 1000 points for her VCU career.
Hollingsworth also recorded 55 double-doubles this season, putting herself in the top 25 in the country in the NCAA for double-doubles. She led the Rams to the first ever at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament where they met Rutgers in the first round.
