VCU Releases 2009-2010 Out-Of-Conference Schedule

DSC_0014VCU has posted the out-of-conference schedule for the new season. Most of the higher profile games will be at the Siegel Center – not to mention a total of 17 home games.

I’m really looking forward to Jeff Capel’s Oklahoma Sooners coming to the Siegel Center to wrap up a 1 and 1, this time without the Griffins. This won’t be an easy start to the new “Shaka Era”, but our veterans have the experience to pull off wins.

The Oklahoma game should be celebrated as the 10th anniversary of the first game in the Siegel Center. On 11/19/99 VCU beat Louisville.
