With starting forward, Larry Sanders, suspended for one game, the Rams had to find a way to win without their leading rebounder against Delaware Saturday.
After two straight CAA losses, the Rams were determined to get a “W”. The Rams proved victorious, 77-64, and received help from starting guard, Brandon Rozzell, with 19 points. Wake Forest transfer, Jaime Skeen helped fill the void left by Sanders with a double double of 11 points and 10 rebounds.
Kirill Pishalnikov saw increased minutes, due to Sanders benching, and contributed nicely to the Rams with 7 points and 1 block.
The Rams will take on Hofstra in New York on Tuesday.
