VCU’s junior guard, Joey Rodriguez is currently tied for 5th in the nation for assists. Rodriguez has stepped up wonderfully in replacing VCU great, Eric Maynor at the point guard position.
Rodriguez is averaging 11.3 points per game as well as 2.4 rebounds and 6.3 assists. He recently received the CAA honor of Player of the Week this past month.
