Sanders set to make NBA Summer League debut

LarryComicSmallLarry Sanders will see his first taste of NBA competition as the Bucks take on the Dallas Mavericks at 8PM on NBA TV (Verizon channels 89 and 589).  He comes into the game as VCU’s highest ever draft pick as the 15th overall pick in this years draft.

Buck’s assistant coach Jim Boylan said he expects Sanders to see 25 to 28 minutes of play in today’s game.

Sanders will compete alongside Buck’s second round draft pick Keith “Tiny” Gallon.

The last time these two shared a court was during a 82-69 VCU victory as the Rams hosted Gallon’s Sooners squad coached by ex-VCU head coach Jeff Capel.

Joining the Buck’s is former Hofstra standout Antoine Agudio.  The former CAA sharpshooter has spent the past two season in the NBA’s D-League with the New Mexico Thunderbirds.

Missed this game, but watched Larry play tonight against Memphis and he played remarkably well. I gotta say I'm pretty surprised. Made a crazy last second 3pt shot, but unfortunately still lost. I'm looking forward to see him during the regular season.
