Sanders Solid in First NBA Action

Larry Sanders got his first taste of NBA preseason action last night netting a solid 7 points in 15 minutes of play.

The former Ram, known mostly for his dunking ability, was shut out from the easy buckets and instead opted for 15 and 18 foot jump shots.  Larry added two rebounds and a block to his line.

Those fouls that haunted Sanders at times found their way into last nights action as well, as Larry’s eagerness to block shots found him penalized 3 times on the night.

Skiles was forced into some sideline coaching on occasion, positioning Sanders as the play was happening. He also unnecessarily left his feet a couple of times on defense. All things considered, though, not a bad opening stretch.”
