VCU’s latest first round NBA draftee saw his first career start last night.
Larry Sanders posted 10 points on 4-of-6 shooting to go along with three rebounds and two blocks including a highlight worthy block that sent a weak Tyrus Thomas shot attempt into the stands.
Sanders has seen extended minutes with Bucks center Andrew Bogut nursing a sore back, and got the start after backup Drew Gooden was held out with a foot injury. Milwaukee’s 1st-round draft choice has averaged 8.6 points, 6.6 rebounds, and 1.6 blocks in just over 26 minutes per contest in these last three games.
Bogut and Gooden are both listed as day-to-day.
Sanders and the Bucks head to Utah this Monday for a road tilt against the Utah Jazz at 9PM.
