The Rams did what they needed to do in back-to-back W’s to win this year’s Richmond Mariott Holidays on the Hardwood Classic.
VCU started things off by grinding out a Wofford team hot of an NCAA tournament appearance to the tune of a 75-66 win. Â A few hours later they handed another loss to a visiting opponent, this time defeating the New Hampshire Wildcats 78-65 to complete the quick championship run.
The tournament brought the Rams to 9-4 on the season and close to 12,000 fans to the Siegel Center over the two day event.
