VCU leads the all-time series by 2 but heads to Norfolk to face an ODU squad hot off a CAA Championship and a first round NCAA tournament upset of Notre Dame.

The Monarchs come into this one as the preseason favorite to win the conference, yet find themselves a game behind current CAA leader, VCU.

The Rams have been hot as of late, riding a 5-game win streak including two road wins, a win over a hot Drexel team who knocked of Louisville on the road, a revenge home W over Georgia State, and their first home win against Northeastern in three years.

Brandon Rozzell remains sidelined with a broken hand, but VCU gets Toby Veal back for his second game in a row after knee surgery, and a hot Rob Brandenberg who’s looking for his 2nd freshman of the week honor after dropping a career high 23 points in VCU’s most recent victory.
