In a matter of 9 days, Larry Sanders has gone from backup F/C on the Milwaukee Bucks, to a Forte Wayne Mad Ant (Larry if you’re reading please sell me that jersey), to an NBA starter.
The often injured Andrew Bogut has once again cleared the way for the former Ram to find his way into the Bucks starting lineup. He’ll get the nod tonight as Milwaukee takes on the Detroit Pistons at 8PM.
Sanders, the 15th overall draft pick in this year’s draft, was sent to NBA D-League Forte Wayne Mad Ants just days ago.
In his two games, Larry averaged 10.5 points, 10 rebounds, and 2.5 blocks per contest in 27 minutes of play.
Sanders is averaging 4.1 points, 2.9 rebounds, and 1.2 blocks with the Bucks this season.
Tonight’s start with be the 9th of Larry’s young career.
