Video: Ram Nation at the Final Four

With help from Ram Nation and Buick, all four of us were fortunate enough to make it out to Houston for the Final Four.

It may not have had the end result we all wanted but it was a trip of a lifetime and hopefully not the last.

Since we stayed in the CBS & media hotel, we had many run ins with Dick Vitale and Jay Bilis and even Howie Schwab from “Stump the Schwab”. The Final Four was really a whose who in college basketball with coaching greats in the stands like Jim Boeheim, Tom Izzo, Lute Olson and Eddie Sutton.

Since our hotel was attached to the Galleria mall, we got in a fair amount of downtime at the mall. Between the Foot Locker store with the Nike Hoopstown photo set up and the huge food court, Houston made it easy to lose track of time.

Reliant Stadium, home of the Texans (NFL) was a pretty remarkable spectacle itself. To see a college basketball game played in a 71K+ seat stadium is one a of a kind experience. For a city of 8 million people, Houston is pretty spread out and as a whole did a great job in hosting the NCAA Tournament.
