VCU 3rd in first ever CAA Bloggers Poll

Bloggers from around the CAA came together to vote in the first ever CAA Bloggers Poll. VCU checks in at No.3 after a tough loss, but impressive performance against the nation’s 12th-ranked Alabama Crimson Tide. Northeastern is the surprise top team in the poll after starting the season 3-1 and shocking Big East opponent St. John’s on the road. George  Mason, VCU, and Drexel round out of list of first-place vote-getters.

The voting panel is made up of CAA die-hard bloggers from around the league. As of the first poll, that list includes Michael Litos of CAAHoops.com and author of “Cinderella: Inside the Rise of Mid-Major College Basketball”, Brian Mull who covers UNCW for Wilmington’s Star News, Jerry Beach of the Hofstra blog Defiantly Dutch, Ryan Kish of GMUHoops.com, Rob Russell of William & Mary’s Gheorghe: The Blog, Ben Moore of PantherTalk.com, Joseph Suhoski  of ODU blog VBR Productions,  Mike Brodsky who provides freelance coverage of Northeastern, and Mat Shelton of VCURamNation.com
