Today head coach Shaka Smart and VCU Athletic Director Norwood Teague took time out from their busy schedules to entertain a few media questions in the Siegel Center’s swanky new Tommy J. West Club.
Following an unbelievable Final 4 run, Teague spearheaded the building of the Siegel Center’s latest expansion, introducing luxury suites, upgraded offices, the aforementioned Tommy J. West Club, and 120 extra seats in the new club level balcony.
The Rams unveiled the expansion this past Thursday in an exhibition blowout of Cal U PA, and get set to reveal another welcome addition to the Stu this Friday in the form of VCU’s first-ever Final 4 banner.
