Heath Houston Injured, Out For Season

Chris Kowalczyk from VCU Athletics is reporting that Heath Houston (redshirt freshman) is out for the season with a knee injury:

Redshirt freshman Heath Houston will need microfracture surgery on his right knee and will likely miss the remainder of season, VCU Assistant Athletic Director for Athletic Communications Scott Day said following Wednesday’s game.

This is his second injury while with the Rams – last year he was redshirted due to a foot injury. We wish Heath well as he undergoes surgery and a long recovery process, and we really look forward to seeing him on the court next season.
