Dragons steady at 1, Blue Hens continue rise in latest CAA Bloggers Poll

Not a ton of movement in this week’s CAA Bloggers Poll after a relatively predictable weekend in CAA play.

The Drexel Dragons received all but three first place votes, good for their second-straight week at the top of the poll.

VCU added a first place vote after their thrilling win against rival Old Dominion in Norfolk. The Monarchs held steady at four, receiving straight 4s from this week’s voters.

The big winner over the last few weeks has been Monte Ross’ fighting Delaware Blue Hens. The Saddler, Hagins, Anderson trio is starting to really put it together in Newark, boasting wins against Drexel, George Mason and Georgia State (twice), while falling to ODU in a 2-point overtime loss.

Delaware has put together a four-game winning streak including two road wins and a stunner against George Mason.
