Burgess to take part in NABC All-Star game, compete in 3-point shootout Final 4 weekend

The Rams may not have matched last year’s Final 4 run, but that won’t stop Bradford Burgess from participating in this year’s Final 4 weekend festivities.

Burgess will head to New Orleans this week to participate in this year’s ESPN College Three-Point Championships this Thursday evening at 9PM. There, he’ll take on the likes of Miles Plumlee (Duke), DeQuan Jones (Miami), Marcus Denmon (Missouri) and John Shurna (Northwestern).

The following Day Burgess will compete in this year’s NABC (National Association of Basketball Coaches) Reese’s All-Star Game. The senior Ram will join Casper Ware (G, Long Beach State), Jorge Gutierrez (G, California), Dominique Morrison (F, Oral Roberts), Devoe Joseph (G, Oregon), Wendell McKines (F, New Mexico State), Storm Warren (F, LSU), Chace Stanback (G/F, UNLV), Robert Sacre (C, Gonzaga) and Ricardo Ratliffe (F, Missouri) on this year’s West team.  They’ll take on an East squad consisting of Scott Machado (G, Iona), Juan Fernandez (G, Temple), Ramone Moore (G, Temple), Kevin Murphy (G, Tennessee Tech), Jae Crowder (F, Marquette), John Shurna (F, Northwestern), Keith Wright (F, Harvard), Garrett Stutz (C, Wichita State), Henry Sims  (C, Georgetown) and Mitchell Watt (F, Buffalo).

Friday’s All-Star game will take place at the New Orleans SuperDome following Final 4 open practices. Tip off is at 4:35Pm.
