If you’ve been paying attention you’ve noticed the new logo popping up all over the place. It’s most prominent position being it’s new home at center court of the Siegel Center, but has also become the new Facebook and Twitter logo of those most closely associated with the program (including the program itself).
While I’ve got some nice memories with the old Ram head — seeing it blown up on the side of Reliant Stadium for the Final 4 comes to mind — I can’t say it was my favorite Ram design over the years.
We’ll see if VCU plans on phasing out the old logo completely, perhaps bringing in some newly designed Ram head in it’s place, but in the meantime feel free to comment on this post and let us know how you feel about the change in direction.
