Thanks to Scott Day of VCUAthletics.com for crunching the numbers on this one, but worth repeating… VCU’s .655 win percentage ranked No.1 among all Division 1 schools in the state of Virginia this past academic year.
The Rams sent six teams to the postseason and had three programs ranked in the top-25: men’s basketball, men’s soccer and men’s tennis.
In their first season of Atlantic 10 play, men’s basketball, men’s and women’s soccer and men’s and women’s tennis all competed in A-10 tournament championship matches, with both tennis teams winning A-10 titles.
On the individual side of things, VCU Track’s Jaleesa Williams and Kiara Porter were named NCAA All-Americans.
