In the offseason, it’s not hard to track down the VCU ballers. They’re either in the gym, at the movies, or shopping at H&M or Forever 21. I know this because my wife is the TMZ of the Ram Nation family. But this holiday season, the men’s basketball team took the opportunity to help those in need, by hosting the 4th annual “Shop With The Rams” event. Sponsors of the event enable 50 kids from the Boys and Girls Club to get an opportunity to take pictures, eat pizza, and shop with the basketball team. It’s an opportunity for the staff and players to help have a positive influence in the lives of these kids in need. This video tells it all:
