VCU’s JeQuan Lewis finished a strong week with an eight-point, four rebound performance against ODU after posting a 12.5-point average in his previous two contests, nabbing his first Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week honors.

The Dickson, Tennessee native has scored in double-digits three times in his first ten games and has provided the Rams with some range, hitting six of twelve three-pointers since returning to his home state where he helped VCU get past a talented Belmont Bruins squad. Lewis’ 38.9% three-point percentage currently leads all Rams while his 50% field-goal mark ranks only behind bigs Juvonte Reddic and Mo Alie-Cox.
