After a tough road loss against Northern Iowa, VCU welcomed the Wofford Terriers to the Stuart C Siegel Center.  This marked the second trip to Richmond in four years for the team from the Southern Conference.  VCU won the previous two meetings and this time would be no different as the Rams handled Wofford, 72-57.

It was a night of small ball for the Rams with junior Treveon Graham leading all Rams in scoring with 18 points, 14 of those coming in the first half alone.  He shot 9 of 12 on the night.  The bigs were nowhere to be found for VCU.

After winning Atlantic 10 conference Rookie of the week a few weeks ago, Freshman JeQuan Lewis played a huge role in the Rams win.  Lewis would, once again score in the double digits, chipping in 16 points.

Senior Juvonte Reddic and Freshman Mo Alie-Cox combined for only just 5 points. The duo did combine for 10 of the teams 35 rebounds.  Wofford would win the battle on the glass, grabbing 3 more rebounds than VCU, 38-35.

The win moves VCU to 9-3 on the season.  The Rams will play Virginia Tech on Saturday December 21st at the Richmond Coliseum as part of the Governor’s Hoops Classic.
