The Rockets waived Ronnie Brewer to make room for Daniels who reportedly signed a two-year contract the day after the NBA’s trade deadline.
Daniels has lit up the NBA’s Developmental League in his first year as a pro, averaging 23.3 points per game while hitting 40.8% of his three-point attempts. He broke the D-League single season three-point mark just halfway through his rookie season and has hit 173 of his attempts since joining the Rio Grande Vipers.
Daniels hit a single-season record of 124 made threes last season with the Rams then went on to win the the State Farm College Three-point Championship.
