Rising senior Treveon Graham has earned invitations and worked out at two elite academy’s as a Ram: first this past summer at Chris Paul’s Elite Guard Camp with fellow Ram, Briante Weber, then just recently at the Kevin Durant Skills Academy.
Well Graham didn’t even get to unpack his sleeping bag and Swiss Army knife before being invited to yet another elite summer camp, this time the Lebron James Skills Academy.
Graham becomes the second Ram in as many seasons to earn an invite to workout with the four-time NBA MVP after Juvonte Reddic earned a spot this past summer.
Graham will join 30 of the nation’s most talented players for the four-day experience that will allow VCU’s returning leading scorer an opportunity to polish up his game before attempting to return VCU to what would be his fourth-consecutive NCAA appearance.
Graham averaged a career-best 15.8 points as a junior, good enough to help land him a spot on the A-10’s First Team. At 1,349 career points (19th all-time), he’ll attempt to chase down Eric Maynor this season to become VCU’s all-time leading scorer, needing 604 points to tie (Graham posted 553 this past season).
