RICHMOND, Va. – The 2014-15 season opener at the Stuart C. Siegel Center will be on display across the country when VCU hosts MAC regular season champion Toledo, as part of ESPN’s College Hoops Tip-off Marathon.

The Rams will host the Rockets on Tuesday, November 18 at 6 p.m. on ESPNU.

With VCU’s first game against Tennessee on November 14 set for CBS Sports Network, the Black & Gold will start the season with back-to-back national television games. Last season, the Rams were on national TV a school record 25 times.

Toledo, who posted a school record 27 wins last season, won a share of the MAC regular-season championship. The Rockets earned a bid to the NIT last year and will return four starters.

This will be the first of four games in the 2014 Legends Classic. The complete field and bracket for the Legends Classic will be announced on Wednesday.
