The complete field of the 2016 Battle 4 Atlantis was recently announced and it’s a good one. The Rams will compete against a loaded field that includes Michigan State, Louisville, Wichita State, Baylor, LSU, St. John’s and Old Dominion.
The black and gold last played in the tournament during the 2012-13 season, beating Memphis before dropping close contests to both Duke and Missouri.
Seven of the eight teams set to compete in the 2016 field were NCAA tournament teams this past season, with the only exception being VCU rival Old Dominion, the Rams’ upcoming opponent this Saturday.
