The Rams opened the Will Wade era with a blowout win, using a first half destruction of the Prairie View A&M Panthers to cruise to the 75-50 win as a part of this year’s 2K Classic.

VCU will have the weekend off to rest up for the next team in that tournament, a Radford Highlanders coached by former VCU assistant, Mike Jones. They’ll then pack up and head to New York for the championship rounds starting with a Friday night matchup against the defending champion Duke Blue Devils.
