Hard to believe it’s been five years since the Mayor, Brandon Rozzell, took his last shot as a VCU shooting guard. That shot of course coming in front of over 70,000 fans in Houston’s Reliant Stadium during the 2011 Final 4. Since then Rozzell has played professional ball all over the world, taking him to his current destination of Svendborg, Denmark where he leads the Svendborg Rabbits and his league in scoring at just under 25 points per game.

There’s a six-hour time difference between his new residence and here back in VA, but that didn’t stop No.32 from taking the time for a classic Skype Session with us here at VCURamNation.com.

Hear what he had to say about his time at VCU, his professional journey and what exactly he told the Kansas bench one day during March of 2011.

*Editor’s note: This video was completed with my six-year old running interference on my mad-man two-year old. No two-year olds were hurt in the filming of this interview.
