Canavos (right) will travel the country filming and writing about the nation’s top prospect this summer, some of which could become future VCU Rams.

In the minds of many Ram fans we are just beginning the offseason. But in the mind of MakePlayz.com Director of Recruiting, Andrew Canavos, that means the live period has begun and the future of college teams around the country are beginning to take shape.

Canavos is a former JMU student turned VCU Ram, who, despite his young age has been involved in recruiting for years and with that has seen his opinion sought from D1 coaches around the country.

Canavos has formed relationships with high school players who will one day be the talk of the recruiting world and the target of the nation’s top programs. We got a chance to talk about those relationships and a little VCU recruiting today.
