VCU Ram Nation’s Mat Shelton-Eide is heading up a team of VCU alumni to enter The Basketball Tournament. If you dont know, The Basketball Tournament is a single elimination 5-on-5 tournament, consisting of popular alumni throughout the college and overseas professional landscape. Mat is working along side player/coach Joey Rodriguez to put together one of the best squad (of former VCU players) ever assembled. This is pretty much any die hard Ram fan’s dream. The roster is below and is pretty incredible.
The tournament is vote based, meaning, those teams who receive enough fan votes will play in the opening round. Voting will go until June 1st and we could still use your vote. Please go here to register and vote for Ram Nation (VCU Alumni Team).
