VCU’s rising senior, Ahmed Hamdy-Mohamed, is a fascinating person who is much more than just a basketball player. In his short life, so far, he’s experienced things that most people his age couldn’t imagine.
We sat down with Mohamed and talked about what it was like to come to the U.S. to play basketball and what’s the major difference between here and his home country, Egypt. We also learned about his transition from playing at a smaller junior college to playing for VCU and all the steps in between.
