Team Ram Nation officially accepted into TBT and what you need to know

The Basketball Tournament or “TBT” for short announced 60 of their 64 official entries yesterday, as four more teams will compete in a Big Brothers Big Sisters fundraising challenge to earn their way into the field. How much do you love basketball…I mean how much do you REALLY love VCU basketball? Well, here’s a chance to watch some of VCU’s best ever on the same team during a time of year when there is absolutely no basketball. So with that, we need as many Ram fans as we can find to make the short trip down to Charlotte, NC to support our team in this year’s tournament. Seeding and the bracket will be announced just days before the tournament (early July), so we don’t know our path from Charlotte to hopefully Philly, but we do know the South Region is LOADED with talented teams, many of which are capable of winning this entire tournament. We also know our region includes Davidson’s “Cat Pack”, a group of recent Davidson alumni that will be playing out of their home city and likely in front of a couple thousand Davidson fans. So Ram fans, like you’ve done all year, we need you to show this region and the TBT organizers the power of Ram Nation. Make the short trip, party with us, and let’s keep this thing going, securing a July full of VCU basketball action.

Want to support but can’t make the trip to Charlotte? Donating to our GoFundMe campaign helps us move this team (literally) along our journey, paying for our lodging and travel needs. No donation is too small!
