VCU Assistant Coach Rasheen Davis has seen success follow him every step of his college coaching career. From Elite 8 appearances at Pittsburgh and Louisville, Sweet 16 action at Xavier and in turning the Manhattan Jaspers into a 25-win NCAA tournament team, Davis has been a vital part of some glory years at numerous programs.

Will Wade and the Ram Nation faithful will hope that trend continues as the second-year Rams assistant looks to build on the success of coaching staffs of years past.

I got a chance to meet with Davis this morning to get a better understanding of the Bronx, NY native and an opportunity to see in-person just what makes this promising young coach such a favorite of players entering the VCU system.
