Treveon Graham makes Hornets roster, Briante Weber cut from Heat
NBA teams are working to finalize rosters, and it seems Treveon Graham has locked in a spot with the Charlotte Hornets:
Charlotte is planning to keep Aaron Harrison and Treveon Graham on the 15-man opening night roster, league sources tell @TheVertical.

Graham went undrafted in the 2015 NBA draft but spent the 2015-2016 season in the NBA-D League with the Idaho Stampede, where he averaged 15.7 ppg and 6.1 rpg. He spent the summer in the Orlando Summer League and Las Vegas Summer League, which eventually paid off when he signed with the Charlotte Hornets in July. Experts speculate that he will probably spend much of his time in the D-League this season as the Hornets are deep in the wing position, but knowing Graham, his work ethic could lead him to a NBA roster seat.
Briante Weber, who had a record-holding 2.4 steals per game at 18.7 mpg during the preseason, was cut from the Miami Heat’s final roster over the weekend. Weber shined defensively this summer, but did not do as well on the offensive end, resulting in 20 turnovers to 23 assists while shooting 30% from the field.
Weber will have the option to return to the Sioux Falls Skyforce d-league team, or decline and look for other opportunities.
