Easily my favorite part of this weird offseason is the simple fact I can find Mo Alie-Cox news on NFL.com. How fun is that?
We all knew Mo to the NFL was a possibility, but now that the former Rams big man has finished his last bit of college basketball, things have really ramped up including the latest revelation that Alie-Cox is officially a free agent.

NFL.com’s Ian Rapoport reported today that Alie-Cox was actually eligible for last year’s draft, thus making him a current free agent an immediately eligible to be signed by one of the league’s 32 teams.
And that could come sooner than many thought, as Alie-Cox will host a noon workout next Tuesday for 20 confirmed teams at Sports Reality Performance in Mechanicsville.
BTI Sports agent Joe Flanagan told teams Alie-Cox will perform standard pro day drills and will allow time for teams do drills of their own, even if for another position.
“The interest is widespread,” Flanagan said. “Twenty clubs are already confirmed to be sending reps, with multiple tight end coaches.”
