The 5th annual Alumni Charity Challenge will be this Wednesday, September 20th from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM at Hardywood. This yearly fundraiser is aiming to collect 20,000 pounds in food donations for FeedMore, a local organization which provides hunger programs to help provide food to central Virginia’s most vulnerable residents.
There are 30 schools participating this year, some of which are VCU’s biggest rivals (oddly, University of Richmond is not participating). If you attend and donate, you will be given a limited edition pint glass and shirt (while supplies last). However, if you wish to donate online, you can visit the donation page, select VCU in the drop-down, and send some cash to a great cause.
