Mark your calendars! College basketball season is almost here, and VCU has just announced their first appearance of the 2017-2018 season, with the annual Black and Gold
game to be played for FREE at the Siegel Center on Saturday, October 14th at 2:00 PM. The Black and Gold game is an intra-squad scrimmage scheduled as an opportunity for the team to play on its home court, and more importantly, an opportunity for fans to get a first hand look at the 2017-2018 roster. Fans will be anxious to get a look at this particular roster, as there are only 5 returning players, 9 new players, and an entirely new coaching staff.
Following the intra-squad scrimmage, a VCU alumni scrimmage will take place, featuring several former VCU players (more details to come).
The Siegel Center will be open to the public at 1:00 PM, and seats are available on a first come, first served basis.
