But, 17 turnovers on the game—4 of which came in the final 90 seconds—would end up haunting the Rams when the final whistle blew.

The two teams trade leads 18 times on the evening, and entered the half tied at 41 points.

VCU held on to a 76-74 lead with 35 seconds left in the game before VCU turned the ball over underneath their own basket for the easy layup by Jacob Gilyard making it tied at 76.

Gilyard would end the night with a team-high 18 points and 6 assists.

A missed layup by Jenkins for VCU with 8 seconds left would result in UR racing down the court and then getting fouled on the final shot.

Khwan Fore (15pts/5reb) would hit one of two free-throw attempts with 4 seconds on the clock to seal the season sweep of the Rams for the Spiders.
