If you’re a Ram fan (since you’re reading this, I’m assuming you are), you’re gonna want to circle Saturday, July 14th on your calendar. That’s the day that you will get to see some of your all-time favorite VCU players compete for $2 Million, as part of The Basketball Tournament.
This year, Richmond is fortunate enough to be one of the host cities for the first weekend of the tournament. That means, you get to see Eric Maynor, Brandon Rozzell, Jamal Shuler, Bradford Burgess, BA Walker, Juvonte Reddic and more, play at the Siegel Center…together.
The games at the Siegel Center will start on Friday, July 13th but Ram Nation’s first game will be on Saturday, July 14th. Time TBD.
If Ram Nation wins on Saturday, they will play again on Sunday, July 15th in the single elimination tournament.
This is Ram Nation’s 3rd attempt to reach the top in The Basketball Tournament. In previous years, Ram Nation advanced out of the first weekend of play.
