Jarren McAllister inks Letter of Intent to play at VCU

The signing period got underway and VCU 2019 commit, Jarren McAllister, wasted no time in making his commitment official. The Massanutten Military Academy guard signed his national letter of intent to play for VCU next season, making him VCU’s first official member of the 2019 class.

McAllister had initially verbally committed to Virginia Tech’s 2018 class before decommiting following changes to the team’s coaching staff, opting to reopen his recruitment while doing a post-grad year at Massanutten.

The 6’3 guard verbally committed to VCU this October following a visit to his game from the Rams coaching staff. He’ll play his post-grad season at nationally ranked Massanutten alongside 2019 high priority VCU target, Dereon Seabron.
