Atlantic 10 Event Guide for VCU Fans

Traveling to Brooklyn for the tournament? A number of VCU-affiliated entities are hosting events in New York for the Atlantic 10 tournament beginning March 14th. Check out the events below, listed in chronological order:

VCU A-10 Kickoff Social

Thursday, March 14th

Join Institute for Contemporary Art at VCUVCU AthleticsVCU School of BusinessVCU Alumni New York City Chapter, and VCU Alumni Richmond Chapter on Thursday, March 14th at Bounce Sporting Club for a Kickoff Social, as we prepare to cheer our beloved Rams to the A-10 Championship title. There will be spirit squads there.

When: 6:30PM to 8:30PM

“Today” With Rodney

Friday, March 15th

Meet up with Rodney the Ram, the Peppas and spirt squads as well as other alumni, friends and fans to take over the “Today” plaza and celebrate VCU and the A-10 Tournament. We’ll bring the swag, you bring the spirit!

When: 6:30am-8:30am

Where: Today Plaza, Rockefeller Center on 48th Street between Fifth and Sixth avenues, right outside Studio 1A

Cost: Free

A-10 Tournament Pregame Reception

Friday March 15th

Join the VCU Office of Alumni Relations, the VCU Alumni Richmond Chapter and the VCU Alumni NYC Chapter 2 hours before the first men’s basketball game at the 40/40 Club inside the Barclays Center . You must have a game ticket for the session to attend the reception.

Tickets cost $20 and include 2 hours of open bar and hors d’oeuvres.

VCU RAMS HEADQUARTERS

For Friday through Sunday, join other Ram Fans prior to each VCU game at KBH located at 84 St Marks Pl, Brooklyn, NY 11217. KBH will serve as VCU headquarters throughout the 2019 Atlantic 10 Championship. This is the place to be!

When: ALL WEEK LONG

Where: The Kings Beer Hall, 84 St Marks Pl, Brooklyn, NY 11217

Cost: FREE!
