To me it was awesome in many ways. De'Riante has grown up and he is now a fantastic interview. He is honest and forthright with his answers. He was spectacular in that sit down. Mat did a great job with short concise questions allowing Deri to feel comfortable and elaborate. I loved the silence other than Jenkins talking. You could hear a pin drop and then they brought music in. Also, loved the multiple angles. Crisp, clean and mean. Great work. Again, I am totally impressed by De'Riante. Great young man right there.
Thanks Steve! Asking questions is the easy part, Michael is genius behind the camera.
Was it you asking the questions? Actually it is important to do it they way it was done here. Short and concise. Let them answer and feel comfortable. Sometimes interviewers can over talk. I have really had to work on that part when I interview people. Ha!
Yep sure was, and agreed. Have learned to never ask a yes/no question. Been really trying to figure out how to do Terry Gross type of questions, get to the root as much as possible.
