Recap: The Siegel Center maybe a little quieter these days but VCU’s play is doing all the talking. After a resounding win over North Carolina A&T on Wednesday, VCU hosted former rival Old Dominion University. Once again, the Rams were dominate in the 77-54 win over the Monarchs.
Notables:
- VCU turned the ball over 15 times to ODU’s 17.
- Rams had 3 players score in double digits. (Hyland 15, Williams 11, Brown-Jones 10)
- VCU shot 47% from the field, connecting on 25 of 53 shots.
- VCUs bench outscored ODU’s 34-18.
- VCU grabbed 40 rebounds to ODU’s 29.
- The Rams shot 33% from behind the arc. They hit 7 of their 21 three point shots.
Next Game: VCU will host Western Carolina Tuesday December, 15th at 7pm. The game will be televised on ESPN+.
