Recap: After a tough loss in Olean, NY on Wednesday, Coach Rhoades and the Rams (10-4, 3-2) looked to bounce back as they hosted the Dayton Flyers (8-3, 4-2). Behind floor general sophomore Bones Hyland and his game high 28 points, VCU would grab their 11th win of the season, beating the Flyers and former VCU coach Anthony Grant, 66-43.

- VCU shot 42% from the field, connecting on 25 of 60 shots.
- VCUs bench outscored UD’s 23-22.
